In early June, 2006, The Frontier Inn was purchased and reopened by the Godfrey family, owners of The Birches Resort (also in Springstead).  Kenny Godfrey will be running The Frontier, while brother Keith will continue to run The Birches.

As the Godfrey's settle in to running The Frontier, there will be many changes.  The most notable will be the menu.  Because the family has never operated a restaurant, they are starting with a very small and limited menu (don't worry!!  Fish Fry Friday is still there!!).

The menu will grow as the family gains experience in running the restaurant portion of the business.

OH!!!  And the bar will be open late -- so you don't have to drive to Manitowish after The Birches closes!!!
